Enjoy this season of navratri with delicious Foods


This Year Navratri will start from 7  October,2021.Navratri is nine day long festival of  which is dedicated to goddess durga and her nine forms  called Navdurga . These Nine days people enjoy playing garba,wearing new clothes ,eating delicious foods . Five times navaratri comes in whole year Chaitra,Aashad, Ashwin, Paush and Magh. Ashwin Navratri is the most important navratri of the year.lets discuss some of the delicious recipe we make on navratri

Sabutdana kheer– Sabutdana is often used in Indian cooking .it is very easy recipe. just rinse sabutdana in water and soak them in hot water for 30 minutes .cook soaked sabutdana in a cup of water until it get soft. Add Milk , sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well till the milk thickens. cook it until it boils and garnish it with dry fruits you like and serve.

Kela and paneer cutlets– wash raw bananas and peel  either you can microwave the bananas for 3 minutes with the peel and after that remove the peel or you can boil them and remove the peel

Mash them well take two banans peel and add 200 gms paneer  2 tsp of chilly paste 2 tsp of ginger paste1 tsp of sendha salt 6 tsp of singhare ka atta or kuttu ka atta 4 tsp of coarsely powdered peanuts, fresh coriander leaves mix them well and roll them in shape of balls and deep fry them to make delicious cutlets.

Sabutdana khichdi– soak sabutdana for 6 hours cut boiled potato in to pieces and roast the raw  peanuts put oil in pan and add cumin seeds add potato slices and peanuts put soaked sabutdana,spices ,salt and chilly according to taste in this and serve hot you can add desi ghee instead of oil as well.

Crispy sooji dosa-Sooji dosa also called Rava dosa is a popular south Indian dish its main ingredient is sooji along with semolina rice flour and all purpose floor we can make it plain and top it with curry leaves spices and herbs it does not require any fermentation and very easy to make

Coconut Ladoo– Take one cup of grated coconut Heat the pan and  take 1 tablespoon ghee when it become hot add dry fruits and nuts roast it and transfer it in to a plate now again take 1 tablespoon ghee and add grated coconut in it keep stirring when it shows like cooked add condensed milk and mix it when it got nicely cooked add dry fruits and nuts after crushing them let the mixture cool down and make small ladoos
